Mobile Analytics Comparison

19 08 2008

We have been running Bango and AdMob analytics for some time and have started to build traffic on MobiSlim, I thought I’d take a look at the results for the last 7 days in each case… The numbers are very different, which is not a bad thing as long as we can figure out why and draw the right conclusions to help our site design.

Among other things, the same 7 day views show:

Bango

AdMob

If only this was a real site with a real business model you could track real interactions of the actual mobile browser packets with http://www.amethon.com ‘s Mobile Analytics rather than page tags 🙂

I tried both bango and admob. I find admob analytcs more clear and easy to understand than bango’s.

On the other hand, some how admod always shows less hit then bano (with its umage based tracking) and doesnt get referal information.

Hi,

We use Google and Yahoo for search, Wapple for hosting and Bango for billing – anyone want to swap actual performance stats on live commercial sites?

There has to be SOME way of getting a bigger bang for our bucks than the current monopoly permits?
